Ever since I was young I’ve been fascinated by Ecommerce and the ability to make money from selling things online. This started with selling the odd item around the house on eBay to trading on Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace all the way through to stumbling across Amazon FBA due to a recommendation from a colleague I was working with.
My life has largely followed the traditional route, go to College / University and graduate into a professional corporate job, in my instance it was the Management Consulting world .However, there was always something missing. I was never content with the salary I was receiving, no matter how many promotions or job changes there were. I felt as if my freedom was being sacrificed to further my career. I knew that I needed to find something more flexible where I could earn money in my sleep.
Starting Amazon FBA has been a complete breath of fresh air. It has enabled me to make money 24 hours a day. I wake up every day to sales all across the world and it is all done through a smartphone device. I remember seeing all of the YouTube gurus and seeing people talk about Amazon FBA. I always thought it was too good to be true and cast it to one side. However, with Amazon FBA, quite literally the world is your oyster and your efforts are only limited by your imagination and hard work. I never once thought that I’d bein the position I’m in now when I started, and I’m sure that in 6 months - a year's time I will be in a completely different space altogether
One thing I knew was that I had to take action. I couldn’t continue to live my life without seizing the opportunity and taking a leap of faith to try and discover a new way of making money and building generational wealth for me and my family. Along the way, I have also been able to help friends and family who have joined me on this path.
